Cross Street Youth Camp 2016 - Brooksville, FL
The dates for this years camp are July 25 to 29 at Lakewood Retreat Center. It is going to be awesome in every way, especially if you come! Lots of great things to do at camp including some of the things that make every camp great! Things like: Great worship times, Bible teaching, campfires, hayrides, and all kinds of sports. Plus swimming, archery, crafts, human foosball and more! This years theme is RUN THE RACE and we are going to have some new things plus all the other great things we normally do at Cross Street Youth Camp! Come ready to grow closer to God! Come ready be encouraged, challenged and changed! Come ready to have great times with your old friends and new friends! * The cost of this years camp is $205. Grades 6-8 Cross country running is a wonderful sport! This four day camp includes instruction on proper warm up and stretching, running technique, racing strategies and basic training. Campers do not have to have any prior running experience. All levels welcome. Athletes need to bring athletic shoes/apparel and water. Students will make friends with local plant life through learning about their unique characteristics and magical uses. This 18 week class explores the elements of musical techniques within African drumming including understanding poly-rhythms, composition, melody, harmony, tones, pitches, bases, improvisations and arrangements. This class introduces the role of music in the African Culture.
