Does your student need help with English Language Arts or Social Studies? Does your student need a quiet place to work on homework with a teacher after school? If so, the MPA Homework Lab is the place for them! The MPA Homework Lab will take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:10pm to 4:30pm in Hansen 112. The Lab will offer a quiet place where students can complete homework, ask questions, work on projects, or just study for quizzes and tests. Getting dirty has to be one of the greatest joys of childhood (and lucky adults)! This week we will learn about mud, clay and camouflage in a variety of ways. Well muck in the mud, create things with clay, and combine both art forms to camouflage ourselves in nature, becoming stealthy stalkers in many a game. Take a seat in the directors chair as you learn how to construct high-quality cinematic experiences. Youll learn how to plan, shoot and edit video like the pros as we cover camera operation, storyboards, shot types, framing, and editing with Adobe Premiere. Throughout the week, you will work with a small crew to produce a number of short films in a variety of styles. 206-957-1533
High School Advanced - Baker Rink (Check-In Location)
The High School Advanced Camp is designed to create a highly competitive environment with the majority of our campers planning on pursuing a college baseball career. Mornings typically concentrate on drills and position work, while the afternoon and evening sessions feature actual games. Check-in will be held Sunday morning with evaluation sessions that morning and afternoon and a skills session that evening. Monday will feature morning skill instruction and games in the afternoon and evening. Tuesday will feature games followed by a late afternoon check-out. The High School Camp has featured representatives from the following schools in past years: Georgetown, Richmond, Lafayette, Brown, Columbia, Bucknell, Wesleyan, Haverford, Swarthmore, Davidson, Franklin & Marshall, University of New Haven, Dickinson, Bates, and Cornell. **The names of coaches in attendance will be given after check-in on Sunday.
