The dates for this years camp are July 25 to 29 at Lakewood Retreat Center. It is going to be awesome in every way, especially if you come! Lots of great things to do at camp including some of the things that make every camp great! Things like: Great worship times, Bible teaching, campfires, hayrides, and all kinds of sports. Plus swimming, archery, crafts, human foosball and more! This years theme is RUN THE RACE and we are going to have some new things plus all the other great things we normally do at Cross Street Youth Camp! Come ready to grow closer to God! Come ready be encouraged, challenged and changed! Come ready to have great times with your old friends and new friends! * The cost of this years camp is $205. For groups of 5 or more the cost is $195. * This includes 12 meals, 4 nights lodging, all activities and a shirt! * Deposit amount is $50 and can be made from the site or mailed to: Message Ministries – PO Box 7158 – St. Petersburg, FL 33734 You can officially register by going to www.crossstreetyouth.com/camp and making a $50 deposit. Tucked on a corner in the Eastern Market neighborhood of DC, CHAW has been Building community through the arts—and creating lifelong arts patrons and participants—for more than 40 years. CHAW provides inspirational and creative programming for its Youth Arts (after-school and summer camp), Early Childhood, and Adult programs; in addition to producing and supporting public art projects, exhibitions, stage productions, performances, gallery talks, and other arts events throughout the year. By encouraging and nurturing students and artists alike, CHAW delivers an authentic arts experience that leads to a stronger, more vibrant community—inside and outside our walls. At CHAW, we are committed to direct action to bridge our communitys income gap: providing a space where adults and children from different racial, socio-economic, and geographic backgrounds can learn and play together. Half Day Wk1 - NonRes - Epping Forest Clubhouse
Our morning program lasts from 9am to 12pm, and includes programs for Jellyfish (ages 4-5), Rockfish (ages 6-8) and Blue Crabs (ages 9-12). The morning session typically consists of three 45-60 minute activities that will be exciting and engaging for your children. During each of these time slots we endeavor to provide options for your child, enabling them to do what they like most and empowering them to have the most fun with their day. Activities throughout the day are structured around three main themes including: OUTDOORS (e.g., nature hikes, sailing, water sports, swim skills, kayaking, survival skills), ARTS (e.g., crafts, indian art, tie dyes) and GAMES (e.g., tennis, basketball, dodgeball, beach challenges).
