Youth strength and conditioning camp - Houston, TX
Calling all youth athletes and aspiring athletes!!! Parents, Bring your kids out to this clinic to improve their knowledge and skills in core strength, conditioning, footwork and combat fighting drills. This is a free event that is proposed for kids from second to eighth grade. The instructors of this event are Police Officers who enjoy working with youth on becoming better people and athletes while giving tips to improve their proficiency in any sport. If you are interested in signing your child up for this event please contact one us in a direct message. Again, we want to advise that this event is designed to give workout tips to all athletes!!!! Please be aware that this is a volunteered event and injury may occur. If injury occurs, we encourage parents to contact medical personnel. Please be aware of your child health conditions before attending this event. Instructors will not be liable for any injury that occurs. Upon arrival, Parents are encouraged to check in child(s) at 7am. Please arrive in workout attire with tennis shoes. Bring a towel, plenty of water and fruit. Please drop a comment of the number of kids and grade level. Thanks!!!

4 consectutive Fridays from 5:30-7:00 October 16th-November 6th Cost - $130.00. Offering a sibling discount. Bring your kiddos, and go for a parent's night out! This course has been developed by coaches and parents who are also parents. We care about your kids! Your Kids will: ● Realize core to extremity movement ● Learn proper nutrition to fuel the body ● Increase endurance ● Learn skills they can use for life,including athletic training skills ● Connect with their bodies through FUN! Plus learn a ton of cool things about their body, including experiential anatomy, and injury prevention techniques Each day includes skill practice, a workout using that skill, body rolling, games, and more!

Dance Camp, 5-12 years - Cecil Community Center
Dance Camp is designed for 5-12 year olds. Tap, Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop dance is combined with art activities, outdoor time, tumbling and more. 9am-12pm. June 27th - July 1st. Snack and drink will be provided. Dance Camp is held at the Rising Sun Community Center. Cost of the camp is $75. LOCATION Cecil Community Ctr - 17 Wilson Rd. Rising Sun, MD
Girls 5/6 LAX - Old Trail LAX fields and HMAC
The next team sport to open up for registration in our new Grade 5/6 Team Sports Development Program will be Girls Lacrosse. The goal of this program is to help girls develop basic lacrosse game skills and to provide opportunities to apply these skills in modified game situations. This program will be coached by Ms. Margie Anderson, former NCAA Division I College player (UMass) and coach (UNH) and one of our coaches of the MS girls 7 & 8 grade Girls Lacrosse teams and by Mrs. Christy Woodburn, grade 5 Assistant. Practices will be held on the following Wednesdays and Fridays: April 20, 22 , 27, and 29 and May 6, and 11. In addition, a small number of games/scrimmages are scheduled on Monday 5/2 (Hudson Youth at OTS), Friday 5/13 (the Saints at OTS), Saturday 5/14 (noon CLE at OTS), plus on Wednesday 5/18 (Revere Youth at OTS). Minimum number of participants will be 12 Registration fee is $125 and the registration deadline is April 17, 2016 Players are strongly encouraged to bring their own goggles, mouth guards and sticks. Sport Foundations Summer Basketball Camp - Fields/Diamonds/Gym/Courts
Sport Foundations Basketball Skills Academy one day camps are designed to teach and develop basketball skills, including fundamentals of shooting, ball handling, passing, rebounding and defense. Often times with AAU and travel basketball the focus of practice is more on "game play and plays". Developing great shooting technique is becoming a lost art. Footwork and ball handling is underdeveloped at the High School level. The fundamentals of basketball will be taught and then reinforced with a series of drills. The following offensive series will be taught and drilled: shooting, basket attack, low post moves, high post moves, ball handling, rebounding and defense. Sport Foundations will use recent research on focus of attention to create muscle memory responses that hold up to psychological and physical stress that occur in competition. The performance of basketball skills are based on motor learning and skill, not just repetition. This camp is for players who have had some basketball experience. Get excited about science through fun and challenging experiments and activities.
