This will be the Teens at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church first Retreat. We are excited for what God has in store for this generation.The Theme for the Retreat this year is Joy! I recently learned that the business that currently houses my teaching studio is moving their enterprise to a new facility and selling the building. Soon. Therefore, I am being pro-active, now. Change is good. I need a change too. As it stands, my career and student base are growing, but my studio space is not. In order to do more amazing things for my students and the community, I started a search for a bigger, better, more creatively inviting space. Coincidentally, a like-minded creative thinker is expanding our local arts community with a vision of making our city a better place to live, by renovating an old building called the Gear Factory. Youth Camping Retreat (Times to be announced) - Orlando, FL
February 19-20 (Times to be announced) In addition to having an awesome time getting to hang out with the youth group, we will be getting to hang out with youth ministry families as well. We will have food, games, and times of Bible study. Our Bible study will be centered on the roles of students, parents, and youth pastor in the development of students as disciples of Jesus. If you are a non-camper, you are still welcome to come hang out and fellowship. Day visiters will be subject to regular park admission fees: $3 per vehicle for 1-2 people and $5 per vehicle for 3-8 people. Further details coming...

Camp will consist of fundamental stations, 3 on 3, 5 on 5 games, hot shot, free throw and 1 on 1 competition. Emphasis will be placed on teamwork and sportsmanship. Participants will work together using pi to try to open an ancient chest filled with treasure!! The chest is protected by a passcode that can only be determined through the activities within the lesson. Enjoy a progressive exposure to pi through this two-part lesson (total 110 minutes) offering a FUN storyline within the context of geometry and circles.
