Cooking Around the World Camp Daily Wed - White Rock Community Clubhouse
Hosted by the Sacramento Childrens Museum, this camp will give children the opportunity to prepare and sample foods from around the world. Debate Camp June (Grades 6 - 9) Have you ever been told that you love to argue? Or that you should be an attorney when you grow up? Have you watched the 2016 Primary Election debates and wondered, "Is that the best that a professional public speaker can do?" Are you interested in winning arguments or influencing your friends, family and classmates? If you answered "YES" to any of these questions, then Debate Camp is for YOU! If gaining the skills needed to succeed in a career such as law or STEM, or if gaining an advantage in advanced level history courses or any course requiring effective and persuasive communication interests you, then wed love to have you at Debate Camp! This camp will help you gain and sharpen specific tools and techniques related to persuasive communication including: court room trials, persuasive presentations, political campaigns and competitive team debates. You will learn how to use evidence-based arguments to persuade others to support and act on your ideas and proposals. Volleyball Camp, Grades 5-9, Licensed - Longmeadow High School
Join Coach George Mulry and his players at this high energy, skill packed camp. Players will learn the fundamentals and techniques that make the LHS program so successful. Drills and play will focus on the basic skills of volleyball including serving, passing, hitting, setting, blocking, serve-receive and defense. Players of all levels and positions are encouraged to attend. Campers should pack a peanut free lunch and water bottle daily. The Spring Skills Academy is designed to help players master need fundamental skills that will allow them to be successful in games. This program is perfect for players of all skill levels that want to master the basics. The following skills will be taught: Shooting mechanics, footwork, ball handling, passing, finishing, defense, how to use screens & fundamental moves. Pure Sweat Elite Skills coach, Matt Pugh will lead the Hannibal, MO Spring Skills Academy. The training days available are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Training times are TBD. All scheduling will be coordinated by Matt Pugh.
