In this camp you will learn about robotic control and also program the amazing Parallax ?Scribbler 2? robot with its Graphical User Interface programming language. A series of increasing challenges are designed to earn you mastery of this sinister mechanical menace! If you are victorious and there is time you will employ light sensors and program flags to follow lines, avoid obstacles and navigate mazes. Baton Twirling Camp K-8 - Clague Middle School
Boys and Girls. Looking for something unique and fun to try? Learn and practice the basics of twirling and routines. Try 2-baton, hoop and flag. Each camper receives a certificate and baton-related gift upon completion of camp. If you need a baton, they are measured the first day and the fee is $13-$27 (used batons available).Coach: Jenney Gordon, former Champion Twirler. Lacey Camp (Outdoor) - REGULAR Session 4 - 2016 - City of Hanford
Grades: K - 12th This weeks theme "Red, White & Blue Week" Parents, is your child ready to have fun and make new friends this summer? If yes, then bring your child to the coolest hot spot in town. The Lacey Park Day Camp is full of fun activities for children grades K thru 6th. This is an outdoor recreation camp. Campers will learn about the benefits of being physically active; as well as, having a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors. Each week campers will engage in various group games, art projects, participate in a talent show and weekly field trips to the Hanford Teen Center, Hanford Plunge and the local Library. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. A weekly food menu will be provided at request. If your child has a particular taste, you may consider bringing a sack lunch for your child. The park in the summer is hot, please send your child to the park with a bottle of water and sunscreen. Staff will provide an igloo of cold water for refills.
