This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.Join one of Pasadenas most popular summer camps! Victory Park Camp has earned its longstanding reputation as a high-quality, fun, affordable, enriching program. Each day begins with a morning pep rally that sets the stage for an action-packed day. Activities include outdoor play, dance, arts and crafts, including painting, sculpting, lanyard making and chalk drawings, fitness activities and enrichment. Enrichment classes include health, hygiene and first aid instruction, cooking classes, computer and robotics play and specialized sports instruction in tennis and golf. Campers spend at least two hours daily doing physical fitness in the form of choreographed dance, group games, fitness competitions, team sports and supervised free play. Campers are escorted across the park to Pasadena High Schools swimming pool for recreational swim two times per week. Camp counselors go into the water with the campers and well-trained, certified lifeguards are always present. Before entering the pool, campers receive a water safety lesson. CAMP STRAWBERRY CIT program incorporates specialized skills, camp activities, special guests, athletics, safety training, and work experience skills in an exciting summer environment. Young teens, ages 11-15, will gain valuable training through work experience in a camp setting including how to fill out applications, develop resumes and lead groups. CIT-TIME ZONE allows the group to develop their own athletic and safety skills through professional instruction with a weekly focus. When CITs are not in CIT-TIME ZONE, they will work hand in hand with SRD camp staff to lead games, sports, cooking, songs and transitions. KMS Summer Sessions Actions Sports Camps will feature Freeski, Freestyle and Snowboard camps. These camps are aimed to provide a fun, safe and exciting learning environment for athletes to progress their skiing and riding regardless of age, gender or ability. Athletes will be coached by some of the best coaches in the industry alongside various guest pros and industry leaders. Athletes looking to take their skiing to the next level will be trained at the KMS Action Center which features multiple Olympic Trampolines, and skate facilities as well as Dry Slope facilities which includes various Dry Rails and Airbag Jump Site. Summer Sessions Actions Sports Camps will feature overnight and day camps which will utilize KMSs dorm, nutrition center, gym and new media lab.
