Starting at 6pm Dale Potter-Clark will discuss the process and research that led to the writing of "The Founders and Evolution of Summer Resorts and Kids' Camps on Four Lakes in Central Maine". There will be time for Q&A followed by book signings. Books will be available for sale following the talk.
Charly Cardboard Mini Camp - Gallatin, TN
School is out and Charly Cardboard is coming! This class will give the vision and skills to get students to begin the creative process of using something as simple as leftover cardboard into something artistic and maybe even practical. In two days - 4 hours per day - students will get hands on instruction and come out with a completed project like the one below. Lot's of fun. Visual artist and film maker David Wilson in collaboration with Actors Point Theatre Company will conduct this amazing class. Limited space available. For rising 5th-8th grade students This camp will focus on athletic enhancement and speed development. Young athletes will learn proper training techniques and fitness program design to help them achieve their athletic potential-whatever their sport may be. Overall health of the athlete is the emphasized. Each athlete will leave with a personalized plan to stay on track the rest of the summer. This camp is co-ed.
