This course teaches the building blocks of coding through MITs Scratch Jr. video game design platform. Young children will create all sorts of neat animations (including a dance party and a farm animal race) while learning sequencing skills that make characters move, jump, dance, and talk. With all Level Up Village courses, 30% of the profit goes to sponsor a Global Partner classroom of students in a developing country who will be matched up with kids at Portledge. Dear friends in Christ! The Living Spring camp would like to cordially invite you to the 2015 Youth Winter Bible Camp at Highland Lakes in Martinsville, IN December 27-31, 2015! This camp will be a fantastic and memorable event. We look forward to it as another opportunity for us all to share our time together at this beautiful place where you can catch up with one another, have sports, games and fun, and most importantly, it presents an invaluable opportunity to give praise to the Lord and indulge into His holy Word to learn more about our Lord Jesus Christ! The topic this year is "If you believe, you will see the glory of God" (John 11:40). We were able to secure this location for $170 for the entire duration of the camp per person. We encourage everyone to come earlier rather than later to be able to appreciate the time we have together. Furthermore, on December 31, 2015 immediately after the Camp, everyone is invited to the Grace of Christ Baptist Church in Evansville, IN for the New Year celebration! Farm Camp is a Cascade Mountain School day program that introduces younger students to the fun and excitement of learning where our food comes from. Come explore a variety of farm activities in Trout Lake, WA. Play in the gardens. Tour a local organic dairy. Learn about animal care. Feed the chickens and cook a meal with farm fresh eggs. Parents are also welcome to join in on these amazing hands-on activities. Day camps for ages 9-12 will be held Monday through Thursday from 1-4 pm each day. There will be optional transportation from Hood River, OR and Bingen, WA for an additional fee. The fee is $12.50/day/student for transport. 503-358-1949
