Folsom Teen Bible Boot Camp 2016 - Folsom, CA
The church of Christ in Folsom, California will be hosting a free Bible study for teenagers and college students during the weekend of April 15-17, 2016. We usually hold this annual Bible study on the third weekend in April (except when Easter falls on that weekend, and then another April weekend is selected). During this weekend, participants will attend a Friday night singing and a Bible study on Saturday morning and afternoon. The age group for visitors at this event is current high school students (9th to 12th grades) and college-aged young people. Participants are encouraged to come Friday night and stay through Sunday morning services at the Folsom church of Christ. Members of the church are willing to open their homes on Friday and Saturday for lodging, and overnight arrangements will be organized by grade level and gender. ACYO Senior Retreat
**RETREAT DATE CHANGE** Due to unforeseen circumstances the date of Retreat has been changed to October 23rd. Sorry for any inconvenience. It's that time of year again, Senior Retreat! Join us Friday October 23rd-Sunday October 25th for an unforgettable weekend learning about our culture & faith. Retreat is a great way to take a break from city life and connect with one another, ultimately making memories that will last a lifetime. Our topic for the weekend will be: Who am I? Who are we? Please keep in mind that the weekend is designed for ACYO members that are 18 years of age or older. $65 Per Person There is still room in the van driving up to Senior Retreat from the Diocese in Southern California. Soft Ground Etching (3 classes) - Kala Printmaking Studio
An in-depth course exploring all aspects of soft ground etching and its combination with aquatint, chine colle, and drawing. Students will learn about line and tone etching, shape and texture transfer, and aquatint manipulation. They will create layered prints by the addition of a second plate to the one holding the key design. All levels welcome. Camp:Summer Playground-Caldwell Park 2016 - Concord Parks and Recreation
This camp is for 6-10 year olds. Camp operates June 20 through August 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The program is geared to motivate and stimulate the participants willingness to learn through field trips and age appropriate activities and much more! Fee includes most trips and program offerings. Pre-registration is required. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Registration for 2015 RETURNERS will be Wed 1/13/16 thru Midnight 1/17/2016 by ONLINE reg and from 8:00 a.m.-5:00pm by WALK-IN until Friday 1/15/16. Registration for NEW Campers that are CITY OF CONCORD RESIDENTS , (residing in city limits of Concord) will begin on Wed 1/20/16 thru Midnight 1/24/16 by ONLINE and from 8:00am-5:00pm by WALK-IN until 1/22/16. Registration opens to the Public Wed 2/3/16 at 8:00am by both online and walk-in registration. Customer service may not be available after 5:00 p.m. $100.00 deposit is due at registration with balance due by June 3. No refunds after 6/3/16. Any past due balances must be paid prior to or at time of registration. Fees include most trips and program offerings.
