This is our annual summer camp. It is open from ages 6-23 through our intermediate, senior, and collegiate camps. We also will have our emerging leaders camp that is available for adults.
Kid's Dance Camp | Ages 6 - 12 - Portland, OR
June 20 – July 1 | Mon – Fri Half Day: 9:00am – 12:00pm | Full Day: 9:00am – 4:00pm June 2016 will kick off our 8th annual Kid’s Dance Camp. Kid’s Camp at Polaris is designed for students ages 6-12 and offers a full or half day experience, Monday through Friday. Camp is a great way for kid’s to have fun while sampling all that Polaris Dance Theatre has to offer. A typical day at Kid’s Camp includes several dances classes of multiple disciplines including Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Aerial, Tap classes and more! Students also have the opportunity to express their own creativity through improv classes, games and a daily art project. End of camp performances will take place on both Fridays (6/24 & 6/31) at 11:30am and 3:30pm. Skyhawks Multisport Camp - Park - Peers (PP)
Skyhawks Multi Sport Camp Our multi-sport camp is designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in one setting. For this program, we combine soccer, baseball and basketball into on fun-filled week. Athletes will learn the rules and essentials of each sport through skill-based games and scrimmages. By the end of the week you child will walk away with knowledge of multiple sports along with vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork, and self-discipline. All participants receive a t-shirt, water bottle and merit award. The participant-to-coach ratio is 12:1. Participants should bring appropriate clothing, a lunch and snack, water, running shoes, a baseball glove and sunscreen.
