Youth Football Camp - Des Arc, AR
This is a NON-CONTACT sports camp. Each camper will receive positive individual instruction on the game of football. Local 2016 area college football signees along with former Arkansas Razorbacks Clint Stoerner, Tommy Harris, and Matt Harris will be in attendance. Ouachita Baptist University All-American Brent Calhoun, Waymon Johnson, and Dallas Cowboy great Cliff Harris will encourage youth players to work their hardest at the camp. High school athletes, coaches and football staff will work at the camp in order to provide each camper with quality instruction. Each camp session will also deal with the teaching and discussion of character issues such as honesty and sportsmanship. Each camper will get a chance to earn awards at the end of camp day. This is a great opportunity for local young boys and girls to have a great time in a fun camp. Don’t worry parents. There will plenty of water provided… The cost of the camp is $40 per camper. The camp tuition includes all camp activities, a camp T-shirt, hydration station, and lunch. Concession stand will be provided and parents are invited to stay and watch! Grades 1-6 Whether your camper has played for a few seasons or is just starting out, this camp is the one to choose! Each day campers work on basic to advanced baseball skills and play a game, too! Participants learn in a safe, structured environment, have fun and gain confidence playing baseball. Daily hitting, fielding, pitching and outfield stations are featured as well as daily trivia contests and prizes for everyone! Campers receive a written evaluation on their skills. Campers should bring mitts, bats, snack, sunscreen and water bottles marked with their name. Coaches: GVP Sports staff. Monday-Friday -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camp will meet in the rain, shelter available for severe weather. Camp uses reduced impact balls for camp. Please bring your own batting helmet if needed.
