Whether you already know and love the game or dont even know the rules, this summers Chess program is sure to be the right move! Beginning players will focus on learning the rules of the game and how pieces move. Intermediate players will have the opportunity to play matches, learn some advanced strategies, and have fun with variations on the game! YOUTH CAMP 2017 - Harrisonville, MO
Youth minsitry camp for middle and high school students who have completed 6th through 12 grades. COST: $165 (deposits by 12/31) COST: $190 (deposits after 12/31)

Kid's Day Camp (Mom's Day Out!) - Searcy, AR
You may drop children off for a 1/2 day or full day camp experience. Morning camp will consist of an acrylic 16 X 20 painting winter scene along with a hands-on activity. For the afternoon session, children will start with another hands-on craft with a smaller canvas painting. Children may be dropped off at 9:00 a.m. and picked up by 11:45 a.m. or drop off at 12:30 p.m. and picked up at 3:00 p.m. If you opt for full day (9:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m.), your child(ren) will get to participate in both morning and afternoon activities. The cost for the day camp for 1/2 day is $35 for the full day will be $65. If staying the entire day, we will provide sausage, pepperoni, or cheese pizza with a drink, or you may bring your own sack lunch.

Teen Bander Training Camp (ages 14-18) - Hilton, NY
This camp is open to students aged 14-18 who are interested in learning the basic techniques of passerine bird banding, and in examining the scientific reasons for tracking birds of all kinds. Students should have a demonstrated interest in birds to apply; see the Braddock Bay Bird Observatory website for details. This event is sponsored by Braddock Bay Bird Observatory as part of its education program.

Adapted Bike Camp - Forsythe Middle School
This summer, LightUp is pleased to be partnering with the Ann Arbor Public School Recreation & Education Department to bring an exciting new bike camp to Ann Arbor. This camp gives individuals with special needs the thrill of independently riding a two-wheel bicycle. Developed by iCan Shine Inc., this program is offered through a 5-day summer camp. Camp runs during the week of June 27th for 75 minutes per day, there are 5 sections of camp to choose from. Monday- Friday , 75 minutes per day. This summers (2016) camp is geared specifically to the needs of youth diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. To apply, complete an application with the Ann Arbor Public School Recreation and Education Department. Learn and master the sport of archery in a safe environment. Participants will learn an excellent, nationally recognized beginners 9 step to the 10 ring progression which was created by the Coaches Developmental Committee of the National Archery Association. Archery helps participants concentration and increases discipline. Exciting drills and fun games will be implemented in this camp. Confirmation Mini Camp - Burnamwood Camp
This mini camp will focus on what it means to be a Presbyterian in todays world. Campers learn about how we understand our faith through an explanation of the Cross and Flame Logo.
