2nd Annual Summer Youth Camp - Manteno, IL
We will be taking 20 young men ages 10 to 18 to Camp Shaw-was-nas-see for three days and two nights of fun, learning and relaxation. Activities included at this event are First Aid, Map & Compass Reading, Basketball, Swimming, Archery, Nature Trail Walks, Zip Lines, Strength and Endurance Training, Mens Rap, where on last year we talked about the detriments of gangs, drugs and violence, and much much more. All meals will be provided. Last year we paid $60 per person to go to this event but through the generous donations of our donors we didnt have to charge any of the families for their young men to participate in this event. We were also able to purchase our insuance and supplies through our donors. This year we have been given a discount $50 per camper and we are praying for the same support this year. Maine District Youth Camp! - Old Town, ME
It's that time of year again! Time for our most awesome event of the year...Youth Camp!!! This year youth camp will be held beginning Monday, July 18 and will end with a camp BBQ on Friday, July 22nd. ****REGISTRATION**** Registration is $85 before July 1st. After July 1st, registration will be $100. Your registration fee covers meals and activities, please bring extra money for the canteen! **** We are excited to have Bro. Tony Bohrer, the Colorado District Youth President with us this year! He will be speaking in all of our evening services as well as our Friday morning dismissal service. Do you like playing video games? Do you enjoy visual art? Come learn the basics of computer coding while you design you own games and art. We will use resources from code.org, Computer Science Unplugged, and the Scratch platform. This camp is intended for those who have never taken a coding course before. 2016 Stanford Synchro Swim Camp - Overnight - Stanford Athletics
Stanford Synchro Swim Camp will allow athletes the opportunity to work with Olympic medalists, National Team coaches and coaches of the Stanford University Synchronized Swimming Team. During this camp, athletes will focus on and learn the importance of injury prevention based land training, sport-specific muscle strengthening, and translation of these elements into the water. They will learn the technical warm-up Stanford Synchro athletes use to train, and a short Stanford Synchro routine to perform at the end of camp.
