Summer Camp Music Festival - Minnesota Members - Chillicothe, IL
The first Summer Camp Music Festival was held in 2001 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL. About 1,000 attended the festival that year, and enjoyed over 20 bands on 2 stages over the course of 2 days. Since then, Summer Camp Music Festival has grown to more than 15,000 attendees, hosting more than 100 bands on 7 stages over 3 days. And while our numbers have grown, Summer Camp still maintains the same energy and family feel we had when we started over a decade ago. As one fan put it, “Coming to Summer Camp is like coming home.” You’ll run into old friends, meet a ton of great new ones, and have the time of your life. Almost tripling the population of Chillicothe for the weekend, Summer Camp creates a city within a city, and greatly impacts the local business economy. Artists that have performed at the Summer Camp Music Festival in past years include: moe., Umphrey’s McGee, The Flaming Lips, Willie Nelson, Bassnectar, Widespread Panic, Les Claypool, Keller Williams, Pretty Lights, Skrillex, The Roots, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Medeski Martin & Wood, and many, many more.

MOUNTAIN BIKING 201 $250 Grades 6+ July 25-29 8:30AM-2:00PM Did you know that within a half mile of the Greensboro Day School campus is access to over 35 miles of the best municipal mountain bike trails in North Carolina!?! Looking to build on a successful first year at the 2015 GDS summer camp , we are back for even more fun for 2016 with two sessions available! [MTB 101 June 13-17 and MTB 201 July 25-29] For a full week, your child will get the opportunity to safely explore our amazing local Greensboro mountain bike trails while also learning basic mountain bike repair and maintenance. Instruction will be provided from highly experienced local bike shop mechanics combined with skills instruction and guided rides from certified International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) guides. This camp will split time between instruction, skills sessions and most importantly bike riding! All your child needs is a bike in good working condition with knobby tires and a helmet. Where: NDP main gym About: The focus of the Notre Dame Prep boys basketball camp is to provide every participant the opportunity to develop his fundamental skills in ball handling, passing, dribbling, footwork and rebounding, as well as individual and team defense. We will accomplish this through a high-energy camp of hard work. Additionally, it is our hope that with the assistance of our experienced teaching staff, all of the young men attending NDP basketball camp will improve their conceptual understanding of the game of basketball. With a staff-to-player ratio of 1 to 9, we can guarantee each player individual attention throughout the week. We also look forward to each participant meeting and making new friends while having plenty of fun and enjoyment over the four days of camp. Please note our new cancellation policy.
