Teen Lifeskills Camp - Pensacola, FL
The goal of the Teen Life Skills Camp is to prepare the youth for adulthood by teaching and building upon their life skills. They will spend two days in a warm and nurturing environment learning principles of manhood, woman hood, interpersonal communication skills, problem solving skills, team work, collaboration and culture competence. This event will start off at Deliverance Tabernacle Christian Center and then the learning environment will shift to Oak Grove Park on Naval Air Station Pensacola. During the course of the 3 day, 2 night camp, they will be apart of discussions: (the young men)the role and purpose of a man, leadership, teach them how to tie a neck tie and they will receive a tie. Mountain Biking Adventure 101 - Greensboro Day School
MOUNTAIN BIKING 101 $250 Grades 6+ June 13-17 8:30AM-2:00PM Did you know that within a half mile of the Greensboro Day School campus is access to over 35 miles of the best municipal mountain bike trails in North Carolina!?! Looking to build on a successful first year at the 2015 GDS summer camp , we are back for even more fun for 2016 with two sessions available! [MTB 101 June 13-17 and MTB 201 July 25-29] For a full week, your child will get the opportunity to safely explore our amazing local Greensboro mountain bike trails while also learning basic mountain bike repair and maintenance. Instruction will be provided from highly experienced local bike shop mechanics combined with skills instruction and guided rides from certified International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) guides. This camp will split time between instruction, skills sessions and most importantly bike riding! All your child needs is a bike in good working condition with knobby tires and a helmet. Friday Night Lights Camp Friday June 3, 2016 (Grades 9 to 12) - Sheakley Athletic Complex at UC
Description: There is nothing like stepping out onto the Sheakley Athletic Complex under the lights. Our Friday Night Lights Camp is an up-tempo evening of football with the Cincinnati Coaching Staff and top college coaches from the Midwest. This camp will be held at our practice complex under the lights, simulating a game day environment. Campers will go through combine style testing demos, position drills, 1-on-1 drills, speed drills, and on field competitions focusing on proper techniques and fundamentals. All One Day Camps feature in person instruction by the University of Cincinnati Football Coaches, along with many other coaches from FBS, FCS, Division II, and Division III level Colleges. A Member of the Cincinnati Football Staff will lead each Position. Boys Lacrosse week 7 - Knott Hall
Coach Ben Rubeor will run the 2016 Loyola Lacrosse Camp. Ben was named the USA Today National Coach of the Year and the Maryland Private School Coach of the Year after winning the 2015 MIAA ‘A Conference Championship. Ben was a three-time All-American attackman, two-time Academic All-American, and two-time team captain at the University of Virginia, where he won an undefeated National Championship in 2006. He was also named the ACCs Top Male Scholar Athlete in 2008. He played 8 seasons of professional lacrosse, served as a team captain of the Chesapeake Bayhawks, and won 3 Major League Lacrosse titles. He will lead a staff of Loyola coaches and players to teach the fundamentals of lacrosse in a fun and competitive environment. The camp is designed for all levels of players. Campers will learn individual skills, including stickwork, footwork, dodging, shooting, and individual defense. Campers will practice these drills in an up-tempo environment. In addition, campers will learn team concepts and compete in a number of game-like situations, and they will have the opportunity to earn a number of prizes.
