This half-day camp is just the ticket for kids 6-14 years old who have expressed interest in and/or shown a talent for golf, but arent quite ready to play a full round. With the help of a Montgomery County Golf Academy instructor, campers will practice putting, chipping, driving and using irons and woods Monday-Thursday at the Driving Range. On Friday, theyll compete in a small tournament at a nearby golf course. Itll be a blast for juniors, and a great way to develop the skills needed to start playing golf with the family. Our experience with Camp Twin Creeks in Marlinton was awesome. When we got there to drop off the kids, we realized that the staff was so diverse in their nationalities that my kids would feel so welcome and fit right in. The staff seemed to be having as good of a time as the kids and my kids walked away with many new friendships. They are already talking about next summer and seeing their friends again.
