Our experience with Camp Twin Creeks in Marlinton was awesome. When we got there to drop off the kids, we realized that the staff was so diverse in their nationalities that my kids would feel so welcome and fit right in. The staff seemed to be having as good of a time as the kids and my kids walked away with many new friendships. They are already talking about next summer and seeing their friends again. As everyone gears up for school to start back, we're glad to announce our first Kids Night Out on September 9th - a Lego night! Cost is $15 a child (multi-child discounts available), which includes the cost of dinner. Come join us for a night including Gaga Ball, Legos, and a Bible Study! Open to campers K5-6th Grade. Summer Camp Juniper Jedis - Skyliner Lodge
Wildheart Juniper Jedis know how to tap into the invisible web of interconnectedness and travel through the woods without being noticed. Students will learn the art of silently stalking animals and people. In addition, they will practice listening closely to the Earth Force. Camouflage is essential for all Juniper Jedis and we will spend a good deal of our time practicing this skill of becoming invisible. Each participant will leave the camp with a complete camouflage kit, which will enable them to quickly blend in to their surroundings, no matter what the situation. Additionally, students will develop their ability to understand the language of the birds, giving them a birds-eye-view of their surroundings and informing them what their prey is up to, as well as any nearby predators. All of this and well still have time to play and enjoy ourselves as every Juniper Jedi knows how to have a good time! During the week long experience, campers will not only make something edible everyday - breads, pretzels, cookies - they learn how people around the world meet their nutritional needs, and how food is produced from farm to table, and look at the history of breads. Campers will come home with a book of nutritious recipes and an increased interest in the kitchen! In 2016, the AKA All Sports Camp will be entering its 11th summer at the National Sports Center in Blaine and kids everywhere will be screaming for more FUN!! (See schedule at the bottom here) Kids can sign up for the full summer program or choose sport weeks that they prefer or that fit with your busy summer schedule! The 2015 Summer program at the NSC again reached capacity... the 2016 AKA ASC at the National Sports Center will fill up in the winter, without a doubt! The full summer rate for 10 weeks of your choice is $2,200 though with a deposit made in our early bird registration periods, you can save a few hundred dollars.
