All activities this week will revolve around sports. We will allow the children to select several sport related activities to participate in each day. These events can be anything from soccer,baseball/softball, tennis, ultimate Frisbee, cheerleading and other miscellaneous sports. We hope to provide campers with the opportunity to play various sports or sports related activities throughout the week. What is Youth Councils? Youth Councils is a three day retreat specifically for Jr. High, High School and college age youth to be challenged and strengthened in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Who can attend Youth Councils? We have two tracks to set up so that we can tailor everything to the specific needs of your youth. To attend the Jr. High Track, youth must be in 6th, 7th or 8th grade by April 8, 2016. In order to be in the High School Track, youth need to be in 9th grade-age 25 by that same date. Junior Firefighters - Kids Discovery Museum
KiDiMu crew to the rescue! Join Our Towns Fire Department to put out imaginary fires and get ready for real life emergencies. Get tips from the Bainbridge Island Fire Department team. Visit the Bainbridge Island Police Department and learn how the two crews often work together. From exploring stories, making emergency plans and first aid kits to training their bodies through obstacle courses and games, campers will get a taste of firefighters daily adventures. Focus: Health and Wellness, Social Sciences, Literacy, Arts, FUN! Ages: 3.5 - 6 Presented in partnership with BIFD and BIPD 206-855-4650

Come join NESS to learn about the fantastic sport of fly fishing. Saltwater fly fishing is used to target a variety of species available depending on the season. Striped bass and bluefish are local all summer, with the occasional transient like banded rudder fish and jack crevalle. Learn saltwater specific fly fishing techniques to fish your local waters. Gain experience in casting, tackle and fly selection, rigging, fish fighting and proper release techniques. This activity demands specific methods and large areas of space so enrollment is limited. Students should bring their own fishing rods and tackle ready for use. Some NESS rods are available and bait will be provided, please call to inquire.
