Endless Summer 80's Beach Boot Camp Bash - Ocean City, MD
Come one come all.. the season is almost over and it is time for the locals to have a friendly competition. There will be 4 events to compete in. Teams consist of 4- 6 people and must be even numbered between male and female participants. The biggest attraction will be an inflatable obstacle course set up on the beach! The second event is a tray carry competition on the beach- try not to spill! The third event is our rendition of ski-ball- each person will have 9 mallets to try to score the most points. The final event is a flip-pong competition...2 of our favorite activities mixed into one flip cup and beer pong. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams. There will also be prizes awarded to the best dressed 80's team. Jagermeister and Natty Boh will be sponsoring the event. Mug & Mallet will have happy hour prices all day to keep everyone fed and hydrated!!! The cost is $75.00 dollars a team and proceeds will go to the Ocean City Downtown Association. This is the first year trying this event and we are really looking forward to making it a huge success!

Mon, July 18, 2016 - Fri, July 22, 2016 Summer Art Camp at the SCGA Morning Classes: 9:00am - 12:00pm: Print It! Stamp It! Stomp It! (Ages 4-7) Our youngest artists will have an exciting time becoming printmakers. Students will engage in group activities designed to promote teamwork and creative thinking through the creation of a collaborative class project, will make their own stamps and printing plates, use an etching press and have a stomping good time with Miss Marjorie! Storytellers (Ages 4-7) Storytelling helps students improve their language skills, instills a love of reading and stirs imaginations. In this first-time class, talented professor of visual art Jennifer Pepper will guide students through painting, drawing and mixed media activities based on a variety of classic and contemporary children’s stories. Sculpt This! (Ages 8-12) Students will explore sculpture by examining the distinct ways artists have explored 3D forms throughout history. Spring Break Techsplosion Camp MINECRAFT CHALLENGE - Dairy Knoll
Techsplosion is a hands-on STEM enrichment program in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since 2010, our passionate instructors have served over 1,500 students at over 50 bay area locations. We balance computer time with fun outdoor activities and themed games. Our Minecraft and Video Game Design camps are the most computer intensive but in all full-day programs we schedule approximately 2 hours of outdoor time per day. In addition to that, we have many non-computer activities, particularly in the camps for younger age groups like Junior Minecrafters and Minecraft Challenge. We want to inspire your kids to lead balanced and passionate lives, not turn them into potatoes. Challenge (ages 8-12): This program is designed for those that have already taken the Junior level program or are already familiar with the Minecraft game. WINTER SESSION- THE GREEK GODS MUST BE CRAZY Our bodies and voices can do wonderful things, especially if we are a God or a Goddess! CLASS OBJECTIVES & GOALS: Childrens natural acting ability comes to life as they learn basic acting skills, stage direction, group interaction and the importance of individual scene work as well as the power of an ensemble. Through listening, observing, improvisational exercises, vocalizing, and other theatre games, beginners take the stage, which in turn enhances their confidence and self-esteem. Intermediate and more advances students move on to more detailed scene work, acting technique and character development as they hone skills that will serve them well both on and off the stage. Beginner Mobile Game Development - Mercer Island- Community Center
Students learn to design and code mobile game Apps using Stencyl, a complete game development platform that features a powerful (Scratch-like) drag-and-drop and authoring environment. YDL Soccer Girls (5th & 6th ) 2015-2016 - VENUE LOCATION
Join us as our Wildcat Soccer is changing to YDL versus CASA this year! Open to all 5th and 6th grade girls. We will form an all girls team if we have enough registered girls. If there are not enough girls to form a girls only team we will then have a coed team(s). Practices will be held on the Japonica athletic field beginning Feb 1st. Games will be played on Saturdays. This will be a 6 week session: Game dates are set for: 2/20, 2/27, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, Mon 3/21 OR Tues 3/22. Player registration includes officials costs, new jersey, and a Page Mate photo. Player is responsible for black soccer shorts (per coach discretion), socks/shin guards, and soccer cleats. Kindergarten Boot Camp (1/2 Day) - Evergreen Country Day School
Lets get ready for kindergarten! This half day camp is for children going to kindergarten in the fall. Campers will have a fun and engaging time working on kindergarten readiness skills through shared reading, rhyming, alphabet and phonics games and math activities.
