My 12 year old son said he feels at home in this 4-H camp for youth ages 9 to 14. It has helped him become a leader, solve problems, increased his self-esteem, develop independent thinking skills and improved his communication skills. During the Tumbling camp, kids will be learning all sorts of new tumbling skills! 06th 2016 Camp, Buckaroo DAY Camp (4 Day) - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 4 (Four) Day Buckaroo Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. The Wednesday Night Overnight stay is offered only as an option, and has an additional charge. Campers are not required to select this option. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts, Horse Health and Welfare and Swimming Pool fun at the end of each day. Plus, making friends or renewing previous relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest.
