This camp has a rich tradition of over 99 years. My 10 year old son would not miss registering for this camp. He loves the location, which is by the water. He also enjoys the focus on developing athleticism, leadership and problem solving skills. Our son can’t say enough positive things about the camp counselors, teachers and coaches. The location is going to be the Mira Costa High School Auditorium at: 1401 Artesia Blvd. Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 United States The worship and lesson will go from 6:30pm - 8pm, and from 8pm-9:30pm we will have a College Fair! Each campus ministry of the LA Church will be represented. Martin Chairez will be our main speaker of the night, as we give an incredible vision of staying focused in this harvest season. We highly encourage the parents of the Juniors and Seniors to come, to get any questions answered during the college fair and to catch a vision for what the coming years will hold for their student. THE WIZARD OF OZ is the story of young Dorothys adventure over the rainbow where she meets new friends like the scarecrow, the tin-man, the lion, and Glinda but where she also encounters an enemy, the wicked witch of the West. Students will cover the history of this incredible technology, learn about various types of 3D Printers, how to properly prepare and operate our printers and how to model objects from scratch using TinkerCAD and 123Design. The class will culminate with each student designing and printing their own unique objects to take home!
