Northern Knights Youth Football Camp (Grades 3-8) Northern Knights Youth Football camp emphasizes the fundamental techniques needed to play football. Camp is NON-CONTACT. It will teach skills that are vital to the athlete and will allow the athlete to reach their fullest potential. Coaches will provide a high energy and fast paced program in an environment that provides competition in the safest setting possible. Staff: Jeff Reilly, high school coaches & college football players. Financial Assistance is available; if you plan to apply you cannot register online. Please come to our office or call x 1719 for detailed information. Pre camp care is available at Millstone River School through WWP Community Education for an additional fee on their website. If there is one thing you need to know about our boy and water is that you can't get him out of it... especially when he's got a inner tube to float in. Just tell them you're with the fundraiser when you order, they'll put a copy of your receipt in a basket and a portion of your meal cost will be donated to our troop! That's it, SO easy! Our fourth week of cooking camp is for our 8-13 year old age group. In this 5 day fun filled camp, kids will visit the very places where food come's from and that's not the frozen food isle of the grocery store. Each day, we will explore the very places where beautiful, delicious, healthy food comes from. Then, it's back to the kitchen where we will create yummy dishes with the products that we learned about. Kids will have totally hands on experience both in and outside the kitchen. They will learn about nutrition, sustainability, responsible food sourcing along with basic cooking techniques, safe food handling, basic knife skills, recipe reading and so much more. Classes will be Monday thru Thursday from 8am-2pm with a fun cooking competition on Friday where the kids will cook for the parent's and compete for titles like most creative, dish, best knife skills, best use of cooking techniques and more. This camp combines the best of all our lake ecology, maritime heritage and adventure skills— for kids who love to be outdoors! We will explore the waterfront environment on bikes; explore shipwrecks with masks, snorkels and fins; and take an expedition down a river as original inhabitants of the Champlain Basin would have. Well be on the go but have enough down-time for swimming, playing games and having fun on the waterfront each day. 802-475-2022

These camps are designed to give campers the opportunity to fine tune/learn fundamental skills by teaching and correcting campers mechanics and techniques. The skills covered will include passing, serving, setting, hitting, blocking and floor defense. The camp will be led by current UAA Head Coach Chris Green and staff. Space limited to 48 campers.
