The Owls Baseball Camp Staff is happy to announce a weekly pitching camp this Fall/Winter. This camp will be ran exclusively by Assistant Coach Trey Fowler and is open to any high school age player looking to take his Pitching to the next level. The 4 week program will be structured to ensure that each player learns more about the most important aspects of pitching including visual focus, mechanical efficiency, and how to attack/read hitters. A throwing program will be implemented to increase arm speed and strength along with drills for efficiency, bullpens, and video analysis to ensure that each player exits the 4 week program a better and more confident pitcher. All sessions will be limited to a max of 4 players in order to assure each receives the individual attention and reps to reach the goals of the program. The Dates for the Camp include Sept 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th. From the first day to the last campers will choose an instrument, form a band and write an original song to perform for their friends, families and the rock camp community. Each day campers will have instrument instruction, band practice and attend a series of informational, interactive and meaningful workshops. Summer Camp is Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with an end-of-session showcase on the following weekend. All campers should bring a lunch, but no instruments are necessary — we provide all the gear! Students will be escorted from New Traditions to Frog Hall. Pick up is at Frog Hall when class is over. Spring 2016: Survivor Frog! Have you ever wondered how to make fire without matches, purify water, and build your own shelter? Or what you would do if you were stranded on a desert island? If so, then join Survivor Frog! We will learn to recognize and prepare edible plants, track and stalk wild animals, and make rope and baskets out of plants that grow in your neighborhood park. Our amazing Animal Ambassadors will be our guides as we gain survival skills, learn to work as a team, and explore the natural world all around us! NO CLASS: 4/1 415-876-3764
