Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance and music. It was created in Brazil mainly by descendants of African slaves with Brazilian native influences. It is known by quick and complex moves, using mainly power, speed, and leverage for leg sweeps. Students work on physical coordination, group awareness, and communication. Students are recommended ( but not required) to take both the Monday and Thursday classes to get the most out of this program. Teen Improv Summer Camp - Norfolk, VA
Jump head first into the wonderful world of improv comedy. This camp is open to teens from the age of 13 to 18, and absolutely no experience is needed. Students will explore the key tools behind both long and short form improvisation. We will play numerous improv games which will help to sharpen your mind and strengthen your public-speaking, social and team-building skills.
