Children with intellectual and developmental disabilities enjoy summer camps as well as anyone else does. My 10 year old son is intellectually delayed. He looks forward to this camp every summer. In fact, he keeps asking us how many days until camp? He likes to swim, make crafts, sing and learn new skills at summer camp. CFC Youth Camp: Revival! - Gresham, OR
Hello everyone, as members of the CFC Youth community, we kindly invite you to our joining camp. What is it you may ask? It is a 3 day, 2 night retreat for youth ages 12-21. The weekend is dedicated to creating a relationship with God, making new friends, and worshipping. We’ll learn about what it means to have God’s love in our lives, and truly how to forgive. COST: $54 Need a registration form? Around the World! Kid's Camp - Midland, MI
We are going around the world with this multi faceted day camp for kids! We will explore the art, language and culture of several different countries, including Brazil, Morocco and Japan. A variety of activities will fill our time together - art, sports, music and more! Campers will create and fill in their "passports" as we visit a new country each day. Kids from 8-13 are invited to join us for this 4 day camp, running Monday, August 15 - Thursday, August 18 from 9 am to 12:30 pm each day. Cost of camp is $120. Families sending multiple children may use code FAMILY10 for a 10% discount.
Spring Break Kid On the Go Sewing Camp - Tulsa, OK
Boys and girls will have a ton of fun in our Kid-on-the-Go Sewing Camp! They will learn to sew several fun items to carry all their necessities when they are out-and-about this Spring Break! Cost is $175, all materials included. Ages 8 & up. We have sewing machines and tools, but students are welcome to bring their own. Class takes place Tuesday-Friday, March 13-18 from 1-3 p.m. Projects: Drawstring backpack, zipper pouch, pocket wallet/change purse, and a sunglass case or tissue pack cover. Become a coastal crusader as you explore the coastline by kayaking, boogie boarding, stand-up paddle boarding, and identifying snorkel spots through local chart navigation readings. Analyze coastline changes, sift through ways to prevent beach erosion, and discover coastal ecosystems. Take the first exciting step in learning to surf by practicing your stance, balance, paddle technique, duck dives, and get a taste of riding waves.
