Teen Empowerment & Survival Camp Summer 2016 - Tucson, AZ
This camp is designed specifically with teenagers’ safety and well-being in mind. As parents, we want our teenagers to be safe, but we also want them to grow up feeling comfortable with themselves, having a healthy self-esteem and self-image. This means equipping them with the skills and knowledge to assess and deal with both physically and psychologically threatening situations. Safety at school cannot be overstressed. Since this where our teenagers spend a large majority of their day regularly, the probability of their being exposed to, or involved in, dangerous or unhealthy situations is extremely high. Whether it’s an outside threat that poses a danger to the entire school, or a fellow student whose words and actions are psychologically damaging to an individual, our teenagers should know how to assess and act before, during, and after an event. Camp Angel Teen Mentor Application and Training - Mendota Heights, MN
Angel Foundation’s Facing Cancer Together Teen Mentor program, provides a leadership opportunity for teens (13-18) to apply, be assessed and trained to be leaders within Facing Cancer Together programs, specifically for Camp Angel. Teen Mentors will be introduced to the field of human services, as well as provide experiences in groups with children and their families who have been struck by cancer. If teens have never been a camper, teens will be asked to be a camper in June camp in order to be an August Teen Mentor. To be a Teen Mentor you need to go through the application and selection process. Baseball: The Milwaukee Brewers Academy - Patriots Hall
This is the official youth baseball/softball camp of the Milwaukee Brewers. In addition to 30 hours of professional-grade instruction, each camper will receive a full uniform, four tickets to a Brewers game, and a VIP Miller Park experience that will include meeting a current player. He/she will also participate in the Brewers Skills Competition with the top scorers competing on Champions Day at Miller Park. Camp is open to boys and girls ages 6-14 and runs M-F from 9am to 3pm. 2016 will be the fourth year of the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Academy. The Academy has earned the reputation as one of the finest baseball/softball camps in America. There is a family and friends discount available.
