Cultural Summer Camp at The CAKE Village - East Dundee, IL
INVITE FRIENDS WHO MAY BE INTERESTED. The CAKE Village African Culture camp is an immersive cultural experience. It's a great way for both Heritage learners and non-heritage learners to expand their knowledge of specific ethnic group from various parts of the African continent. Our goal is to foster a cultural connection to the chosen African ethnic group and enhance cultural awareness, appreciation and heritage esteem in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. All classes are taught by native speakers of the respective ethnic group. Culture camp is designed for children 6 year to 14 years and is held once a month from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on Saturdays. Sports Statistics - Ethical Culture
Have you ever watched baseball and wondered how players get their batting averages? How about figuring out the top scorers in the NBA? Learn the ins and outs of your favorite sports including player statistics and team data. Create your own March Madness bracket and back up your picks with your own research. This week of riding is for intermediate skilled riders who have participated in our spring program, the beginner/intermediate camp, or with permission. Campers will strengthen their riding skills as we explore some of the great trails Santa Fe area has to offer. The High School Band Camp is designed for musicians ranging from the most talented and proficient to the less experienced. It is open to entering grades 9, 10, 11, or 12. This session features four concert bands each conducted by an outstanding high school director. The program includes sectionals, master classes, elective study, supervised practice, and optional private lessons. Students who have completed the 8th grade may register for High School and/or Middle School Band Camp. This camp culminates with a required student performance. 512-232-2080

Venture on and around the water using maps and clues to solve these maritime mysteries. Use compasses, kayaks, microscopes, historical stories, and animal evidence to decipher the hints to reveal and find your destinations. Go geocaching, utilize compasses, and use magnifying glasses and microscopes to help reveal some of the millions of planktonic animals and algae living all around us. 860-535-9362

Do you love restaurant camp so much that you want to attend twice this summer? Enjoy the same popular features as Restaurant Camp I, but cook ALL NEW recipes! Restaurant Camp I is not a pre-requisite to attending Restaurant Camp II. Open and operate your very own restaurant in Kitchen Kids popular Restaurant Camp! Calling all budding chefs, entrepreneurs, and restaurant enthusiasts! Chefs will tour the kitchen and front of house of a local restaurant, and immerse themselves in every step of the process: choose the concept and name, design the decor, create a menu and logo, learn restaurant jobs and etiquette, create, cook, and serve their signature dishes to friends and family. Throughout the week kids will also prepare delicious recipes and safely learn kitchen fundamentals, palate development, and culinary techniques.
