Prep runners will enhance their running and speed development at the Brebeuf Jesuits Track and St. Vincent Health Field, and also on one of the few, true Cross Country courses in the state. The running workshop is designed to help ALL athletes in ALL sports improve their speed, agility, and coordination by doing plyometric drills, speed chutes, bungee, and drills designed to increase propulsion, responses, and rate of stride. Prep runners will conclude their week with a track meet, where all families are invited and encouraged to attend. Head Cross Country/Track Coach Karl Knerr 74, has 25 years of experience in Cross Country and 30 years in Track & Field. He led the Braves to 3 consecutive State Finals in cross country. He just finished his 5th year as head track & field coach, and was named back-to-back IATCCC Coach of the Year as well as NFHS Boys Track & Field Coach of Year in 2014. The Sycamore Academy Problem Solving Series is designed to provide intensive training over common topics math competition problem writers like to use when writing problems.
