Too Much Fun For One Summer
I was worried about what to do with the kids this summer because of my new job. Thanks to Camp Radians I didn't have to worry. They had so much fun every week. Between the swimming (which they can't get enough of) and the museum field trips I feel like they had extended recess. I also like the focus on culture through crafts and food. Chicago Youth Centers’ Camp Rosenthal is excited to announce its first annual Women's Wellness Retreat April 29th - May 1st 2016. As 21st century women we are constantly juggling the responsibilities of family, work and school. We all deserve some time out for ourselves. Why not take some time to re-connect with yourself and enjoy the fellowship of womanhood at our beautiful camp in Southwestern Michigan. Our women’s only weekend retreat will give you an opportunity to relax in a beautiful and inviting environment, reconnect with your inner self through art, meditation and reflection and allow plenty of time to appreciate sisterhood and enjoy pampering yourself. The weekend package includes lodging, meals and a full program of women centered activities for an all-inclusive fee of $125 per person. Bring a friend and get $5 off the cost of the weekend. All proceeds from the weekend go to our Camper Scholarships Fund that provides life changing experiences for inner city youth. Calling all green thumbs! Lets get to the root of it as we learn about soil science, seed germination, and how produce gets from the ground to our table. Enjoy the fruits of your labor as you plant items to take home! *Please note: Students who are registered for a morning and afternoon camp within the same week are invited to stay for FREE supervised lunch and recess between 11:30 am-12:30 pm. LPBA is pleased to announce that we have added a second baseball field to our summer camp program at OZ Park. The additional field at OZ Park will allow us to divide the kids by age and skill level. We will use Field #1 for boys and girls ages 5-7 and Field #2 for boys and girls ages 8-12. The camp experience includes a daily exercise and agility training routine followed by instructive drills including base running, pitching, defense, bunting, outfield play, infield play, batting practice and other hitting drills. LPBAs summer camp programs run from June 9 though August 29, 2014: Half day sessions from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. - $175 per week Full day sessions from 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. - $250 per week Fridays are rain make up days Camp registration is on a weekly basis.
