2016 Dorman Youth Football Camp - Roebuck, SC
The Dorman summer football camp is a non-contact camp designed to teach the fundamentals of the game of football to rising 2nd - 8th graders. The entire Dorman varsity football coaching staff, as well as all of our middle school coaches, will be instructing players in every facet of the game, including many of the same drills done by the Varsity Cavaliers. • Camp begins Monday, June 6th at 8:00am. Registration will begin at 7:30 each morning. How much water can fit on penny? Can you stir up floating bubbles and puffy foam? Join this camp to explore the physics of things that fall, float, and flutter and the chemistry of solutions that are slippery, sticky, and slimy. Design a cardboard box fort, tinker with a marble run, and experiment with incline planes. Future engineers will be constructing, propelling, and stirring all sorts of contraptions. 2016 Leadership Track Program (Ages 15-17) - James Camp @ Mingus Springs
Camp Quest Arizona is a place for fun, friends, and freethought for kids ages 8-17. Our camp provides a traditional sleepaway summer camp experience with a wide range of activities such sports, crafts, games, fishing and campfires*. In addition to our traditional summer camp activities, Camp Quest Arizona offers educational activities focused on critical thinking, ethics, scientific inquiry, philosophy, and comparative religion. Camp Quest Arizona is open to all children and teenagers within the age range, but it is particularly geared towards building a community for children from atheist, agnostic, humanist and other freethinking families. Our goal is to provide a place where children can explore their developing worldviews, ask questions, and make friends in an environment that is supportive of critical thinking and skepticism. Campers aged 8-14 participate in our standard camp program. Campers agent 15-17 participate in the Leadership Track (LT) - a program designed to cultivate leadership skills. Middle - The Prairie School
Designed specifically to meet the needs of middle schoolers, the daily program offers a diverse selection of activities, arts, academics and experiences. Campers explore science, arts and crafts, math, environmental education, computer keyboarding and software, and geocaching each week. The camp offers instruction and supervised play in a variety of sports. In addition, campers will learn the importance of teamwork and charity as they join the other Hawks Haven campers on field trips when appropriate.
