Join us for Youth Sports popular golf program. Participants will get the chance to learn the rules of the game, develop their skills and fundamentals and HAVE FUN with the help of golf professionals from Dobson Ranch Golf Course. All equipment is provided. Participants must wear closed-toe athletic shoes or golf shoes. All participants should also bring water each day to stay hydrated in the summer heat. Registration fee is $80 total for Mesa residents/$96 non-resident. (Due at time of enrollment: $40 Mesa resident/$480non-resident. Contractor fee due to the instructor the first day of program: $40 Mesa resident/$48 non-resident. Cash payments only for instructor fee.) I sent my 15 year old daughter to the 3 week session and she LOVED it. Which is amazing because my daughter is like many teenagers and is too cool for everything. Creative Concoctions - $150 (August 22 – August 26) Science and art are twirled together in this STEAM-y summer camp (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). Well put a scientific spin on your favorite artistic activities including sculpting with electrical clay, drawing with conductive ink, and painting with edible confections. 484-664-1002
A Cappella Ensemble - Wilmington Montessori School
for Wilmington Montessori Students & alumni grade 3 through grade 8 Wednesdays, 3:00-4:00 The art of a cappella is singing without any instruments, but rather, using your voices to make the background instrumental sounds and beats. This is usually done with pop or jazz songs. We will meet once a week and learn about three songs, one of which we will arrange together as a group. 10 weeks (3/9-5/18—no class 3/23) 302-475-0555
Adapted Bike Camp - Forsythe Middle School
This summer, LightUp is pleased to be partnering with the Ann Arbor Public School Recreation & Education Department to bring an exciting new bike camp to Ann Arbor. This camp gives individuals with special needs the thrill of independently riding a two-wheel bicycle. Developed by iCan Shine Inc., this program is offered through a 5-day summer camp. Camp runs during the week of June 27th for 75 minutes per day, there are 5 sections of camp to choose from. Monday- Friday , 75 minutes per day. This summers (2016) camp is geared specifically to the needs of youth diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. To apply, complete an application with the Ann Arbor Public School Recreation and Education Department. LightUp will provide a limited number of scholarships to families who may qualify based on financial need. Follow this link to apply to LightUps financial scholarship. Kids Dojo premier mountain bike programs Spring Break Camp 4/4-4/8 A Spring break program designed to get kids riding! Well ride a variety of local mountain biking trails, and work on specific skills at a local bike pump track. Your child will learn trail safety and courtesy, how to handle different terrain, the art of cornering and managing obstacles, and much more! Bike Dojo will help your child build confidence and hone skills in a fun, safe environment. This class is appropriate for all levels (students will be grouped by ability level following the first day). Class meets at Scotts Valley Cycle Sport, 203 Mount Hermon Road. Students are dropped off at 9:00am and picked up at 4:00pm. Students will be transported via our safe and insured Dojo Bike vans to trail locations. Bikes can be provided upon request with 48 hours of first day of class ( MUST CALL BIKE DOJO AT 831-713-5475). Please bring snacks, helmets, gloves and water each day (camelbacks preferred).
