Lil Sluggers is an instructional youth baseball program designed to introduce kids ages 2 through 6 to the game of baseball and prepare them for their journey into organized team play by improving and developing their social and physical skills both on and off the field. Is your child excited about camp but not quite ready to spend the night? Good news! Timberlake offers Day Camp every Wednesday of regular camp for children from Kindergarten to 5th Grade. Each Day Camp offers a rotation of different typical camp activities. We provide lunch for every camper, and they are put into small "cabin" groups, always in the care of our trained staff. NOTE: Preregistration for Day Camp is not necessary. If you wish, you can simply register and pay when you arrive at camp. Schedule 8:40-9 am - Check in (Follow the signs!) 9:30-11:30 - Rotation of games, camp activities 11:30-12:30 - Lunch and change for swimming 12:30-3:00 - Boats, swim time and camp store 3:00-3:30 - Bible Time with the camp pastor 4 pm - Pick up time What to Bring Wear clothes that can get dirty and muddy. We will explore the many stages of everyday lives through fashion illustrations, beginning with the basic fashion figures (croquis) and color, using multiple mediums, including prints, fabric and textiles, students will imagine how they would dress for current and future life events, and also gain an understanding of the fashion industry, as well as the impact of technology on fashion. Through class discussions, books, films, and documentaries, students will gain a greater understanding of the fashion world and illustration as a form of self expression.
