Rutgers 2016 Design Intensive Website: This program seeks to develop the graphic design skills of motivated high school artists. Created and supervised by Mason Gross faculty, the curriculum focuses on core principles of design while introducing relevant software. Participants will become familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign while exploring visual problems and producing work suitable for a college admissions portfolio. The Design Intensive includes studio work, technical demonstrations, group critiques, and a field trip to New York City to visit working design studios. Primary emphasis is placed on building visual awareness, and on making software serve the designers vision. All students registering for the Design Intensive must also complete a Participant Questionnaire: / 848-932-8618

Amazing Summer
I have very fond memories of my own summer camp experiences and wanted my daughters to build their own memories. Little did I know they would be so overjoyed to go to Hidden Valley. Unlike my time back in the day, we've got great pictures and videos of all the fun that had. Amazing summer memories for sure!

Camp Jam Summer Camp - Atlanta, GA
Jammin Kids Inc. presents "Camp Jam," an all encompassing camp that gives your child hands on experience in many genres such as acting, dance, science, fitness, career exploration entrepreneurship, and more. Camp Jam is open to all children ages 5-13 (4 year olds are welcome if potty trained or turning 5 during the summer). Tuition is $70 per week (includes snacks). Parents, looking for a place to send the older kids? Camp Jam is extending an awesome invitation for volunteers ages 14-18 to help out with daily rountines for the younger campers. Volunteers also gain experience teaching classes and building life long confidence and leadership skills. Volunteers receive free weekly tuition but must make a commitment to attend camp daily. Camp will take place from 9am-4pm with early drop off and late pickup at an additional $5 per day Camp Jam hosts daily drop-ins for $25 per day and half days for $15 per day. Camp Jam is located at 4485 Fulton Industrial Blvd Suite B, at the Macnificent Events center. Kids In The Arts Fall Camp - Knoxville, TN
A kids in the arts camp with various teachers teaching their loves in art, dance, story and performance. Activities included dance, Improv games, sculpture, dream catcher making, watercolor, painting, zen doodle, stained "glass", paper making, poetry, storytelling and more. Artist teachers include Mimi Eichholz, Jennifer White, Felecia Outsey, Kristi Gilleon, Karl Hess, Claudio Barrientos, Cynthia Baglir and Noelle Harb. On Friday we will take a field trip to Narrow Ridge Eath Literacy Center. Chaperons are welcome as wellas drivers to transport kids! Camp is $200. Scholarships are available too so ask about that. Does your student need help with English Language Arts or Social Studies or Math? Does your student need a quiet place to work on homework with a teacher after school? If so, the MPA Homework Lab is the place for them! The MPA Homework Lab will take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:10pm to 4:30pm in Barker 13. The Lab will offer a quiet place where students can complete homework, ask questions, work on projects, or just study for quizzes and tests. New-US Writing Workshop SII (11th-12th) - Francis W Parker
Parkers new summer Writing Workshops for students entering grades 10-12 offers students the opportunity to learn, explore, review and practice a variety of writing skills, including grammar, usage and sentence structures. These intensive, one-week workshops will help students fill gaps, develop comfort, and prepare for future classroom writing experiences. These workshops will be taught by members of the Francis Parker English Department Faculty. In the workshop for rising 11th and 12th graders, students will work in a variety of genres including persuasive, analytical, narrative and creative, with a special concentration on grammar/usage and the personal essay.
