Introducing the brand new Lego WeDo 2.0. Students will explore simple robotics using LEGO WeDo. Each week they will build models, attach sensors and motors that are plugged into a computer or tablet, and configure behaviors using simple programming. As students advance through the program extension projects can be added for those who are ready for more challenging projects. This robotics class covers topics within science, technology, mathematics and engineering. Science was never this much fun! Grades 4 & 5 meet on Wednesdays. Grades 1-3 meet on Thursdays. Students in grade 3 participating in both programs will meet on Wednesdays for Lego Robotics. Campers comb over unserviceable bikes, salvage parts that inspire them, and breathe new life into them by fashioning their own bike-based crafts. Time tends to be split evenly between rides and crafts.
