Teen Spirit Quest Camp - North Bennington, VT
“This is where I come every year to reflect, re-vision and rejuvenate. It’s my new year!”–Spirit Quest Teen Camper Spirit Quest for Teens is for 13-17-year-olds, who are moving into young adulthood and who need a safe, nurturing place to reflect on where they have been, where they are going and who they are becoming. Camping together, teens develop deep connections to their selves, their peers, their elders and Nature through --council circles, --team-building games, --nature-awareness activities and hikes, --poetry and art --movement and improv --drumming and journeying --sharing in meal preparation --solo time in nature --fire ceremonies and sweat lodges --mediation and yoga Life-long friendships are formed or deepened; issues of self-esteem and soul work are explored with a true honoring of each teen’s unique path. Teens are invited to camp for the whole week, beginning on Sunday afternoon and ending Saturday at noon to allow for more time together. Cost is $425 for early bird registration (by June 1) and $475 thereafter/per camper to cover most food and expenses for the six nights. PLEASE PAY WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD. End of summer camping drive - Fort Bragg, CA
Hey everyone. I have been wanting to organize a trip to a couple beautiful places along the Mendocino coast. Their will be many stops where we can go take picture. And sight see some beautiful places along the the Ca-128 and ca-1. Most importantly im organizing a trip where we can all have lots of fun. Camp. And get to to know more fellow car people. Summer Junior Golf Camp-Session IV-Intermediate Camp - Heather Downs Country Club
Heather Downs CC is proud to offer the Summer Junior Golf Camp This clinic is open to intermediate golfers, both boys and girls, ages 11 and older. 45 minutes will be spent teaching the basis fundamentals of putting and chipping at the practice green and 45 minutes will be spent at the driving range teaching the mechanics of a proper full swing. Director of Golf, Dan Sutton and Assistant Professional, Grant Bollin will be on hand to lead the instruction in an enjoyable atmosphere for all participants. 9th - 12th grades: SAT Prep - Critical Reading and Writing - Saint Marys School
Prepare for SAT success! In this rigorous, half-day camp, youll learn the form and style of the test--which was completely redesigned as of March 2016--as well as the essential content and strategies for approaching each question on the critical reading and writing portions of the SAT. You will learn how to recognize the types of questions asked on the reading passages, become a more critical reader, and identify the evidence on which your answers are based. For the writing section, we will review the most commonly tested grammar rules and skills as well as learn and practice what it takes to write an outstanding essay, which is now optional and follows a completely different format from the previous version of the SAT. Youll leave this camp with the confidence and skills to make your best score yet on critical reading and writing! (An SAT book will be provided.) Jaymee Gaskins received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a masters in Reading Education from Meredith College.
