Afternoon: Robo Roller Derby The speed of a race, the competition of a battle, and the pressure of the clock… its a Robo-Roller Derby rumble! Lego robots take on a new set of hurdles as they duke it out on the track. Race the stop-watch and each other to be the first to complete all your laps without being torn apart in the challenge. Foul play is fair game in Robo-Roller Derby. Note: Even though between some weekly sessions there might appear the same program names, in our actual education program, we will have different depth of technology and engineering principles to be applied by our children under our inspirational guidance... Owlet Camp I - Rice University
The half day camp is designed for the younger players. It is open to any and all boys and girls ages 4-6. Each player will receive an official Rice Soccer Ball and an official Rice Soccer Camp T-shirt at the end of the week. Campers will begin each day with dynamic warm up exercises to loosen up and get ready for the day. This will be followed by the technical portion of the session, focusing on ball control, passing and shooting. The day will conclude with small sided fun games where campers will have the opportunity to utilize skills learned earlier in the day. The Owlet Camp runs from 9:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. each Monday of camp. Cost of camp: $265 713-348-6955

ScratchJr takes students through the beginning stages of the video game making process using ScratchJr, an MIT-designed programming language for youth. Students work in teams to create various game that include game plots, design characters and various games.
