Does your student need help with English Language Arts or Social Studies? Does your student need a quiet place to work on homework with a teacher after school? If so, the MPA Homework Lab is the place for them! The MPA Homework Lab will take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:10pm to 4:30pm in Hansen 112. The Lab will offer a quiet place where students can complete homework, ask questions, work on projects, or just study for quizzes and tests. Not all camps are co-ed. There are some single-gender camps available in addition to traditional co-ed programs.
Single-gender camps are great if parents want their children to focus on empowerment and independence. Many youth today are distracted by the other gender, and this is a chance to give kids a break so that they learn how to be friends with their peers. Hey there parents! We will be having a Kids Retreat for 3RD-5TH GRADERS out at Faith Christian Camp on February 12th! Arrival time is at 6:30 on that Friday and then pick up will be by 11:00am on Saturday morning. Dinner and brunch will be served. The cost is $10 per kid. Matt Johnson is the Dean for this retreat. There will be lots of games and fun activities for your child to participate in that evening. If you have any questions send us a message. We will be posting any updates or details on this page. This camp is designed specifically with teenagers’ safety and well-being in mind. As parents, we want our teenagers to be safe, but we also want them to grow up feeling comfortable with themselves, having a healthy self-esteem and self-image. This means equipping them with the skills and knowledge to assess and deal with both physically and psychologically threatening situations. Safety at school cannot be overstressed. Since this where our teenagers spend a large majority of their day regularly, the probability of their being exposed to, or involved in, dangerous or unhealthy situations is extremely high.
