Enjoy the spotlight, love singing and dancing, or do you just want to be a little silly and have fun? The drama program is for you! This summer, the drama program returns crazier than ever and will be overflowing with things to do for kids of all ages and interests. Each day will consist of various theater games and activities that enhance acting ability, diction, improvisational skills, spatial awareness and movement, singing, show tunes appreciation, backstage expertise, and most importantly confidence on and off the stage. These activities will be coupled with rehearsals for a short play that will culminate with a performance on Friday afternoon for fellow camp-goers, family, and friends. Grades: K - 12th This weeks theme "Water Olympics Week" Parents, is your child ready to have fun and make new friends this summer? If yes, then bring your child to the coolest hot spot in town. The Lacey Park Day Camp is full of fun activities for children grades K thru 6th. This is an outdoor recreation camp. Campers will learn about the benefits of being physically active; as well as, having a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors. Each week campers will engage in various group games, art projects, participate in a talent show and weekly field trips to the Hanford Teen Center, Hanford Plunge and the local Library. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. A weekly food menu will be provided at request. If your child has a particular taste, you may consider bringing a sack lunch for your child. The park in the summer is hot, please send your child to the park with a bottle of water and sunscreen. Staff will provide an igloo of cold water for refills. Kids Camp Original - Wk. 4 (HD) - F. H. Hammond Elementary School
Kids Camp is one of thee most popular camps around the area! Have your child be a part of the camp that has so many great things to offer. This camp will keep your child(ren) of all ages entertained and occupied with games, arts and crafts, sports, themed days/weeks, Munster Community Pool visits, field trips and more! Each week a parent letter and itinerary will be compiled for you to take which will list all activities/trips for that week. These will be available on the sign-in table each week. All camp activities will be held between 9AM-4PM. Parents are able to drop their child(ren) off between 7AM-9AM and pick them up between 4PM-6PM. All scheduled activities and trips will take place during the 9AM-4PM time frame. Early drop-off/pick-up will be designated for free time, smaller organized games and/or board games. Full-day campers should pack a lunch, 2 snacks and plenty of water. Half-day campers should pack a snack and plenty of water. All campers should have their own sunscreen and wear gym shoes.
