After Camp Care for KidSport the week of 8/8 - 8/12 Parents/guardians come into school to sign out and pick up camper. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. The activities are age appropriate and developed by experts in childrens physical education. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids! Scholarships are available from UM KidSport at www.kines.umich.edu/umove.kidsport [] Application deadline is April 30. This camp is not eligible for Rec & Ed Scholarships. Debbie Gantt, Performing Arts Director at Brookwood School, returns! Joined by her son, Dan Gantt, they will direct and produce a high quality musical theater production. Campers will enjoy both individually tailored and group lessons in voice, acting, and dance. At the end of the week, students will perform a musical revue of previously performed Brookwood 8th grade plays. Students will repurpose costumes, sets, and scores. The staff gives young girls a venue outside of their home to grow and bond with other girls their same age. Not only are they a dance group, they are here to promote positivity, build character, self-confidence, and to uplift each other through the art of dance.
