What better way for your child to engage in the vocabulary of a new language then through art projects! We provide a stimulating environment of jewelry & art projects using creative exploration to promote early language comprehension in your 2nd language learner. Our immersion class will expose children to new vocabulary through dynamic modes of self-expression & interacting in an authentic immersion environment. Our expert, bilingual staff is trained in fine art and in making learning a new language a fun and interactive adventure! María Coutinho of Dragonfly Designs, originally from Mexico City, has worked as a freelance photographer and designer after receiving a degree in Visual Arts from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla. She has assisted renowned Mexican photographers all around the world and spends her free time as a singer/songwriter. Spring Break Youth Art Camp - Hartselle, AL
We are excited to announce we will be having our first ever Youth Art Camp!! This will be a 3 day camp for 2 hours a day from 10am -12pm. Each day your child will learn a different form of art and create their own masterpiece to bring home. We will also provide a light snack each day. This will be a great learning opportunity for each child with a creative mind. I will have limited spaces. The fee for this camp is $60 a child for all 3 days. If you think you would be interested in signing up your child you may call the store @ 256-754-5018 and place a $20 non refundable deposit to hold your childs spot. The remaining balance will be due on march 21st. This camp will be offered to any school aged child. If there are any questions please feel free to call or message me.

Parent's Night Out/Kid's Night In - Winter Park, FL
6:00pm Dropoff 9:30pm pickup Parents night out/kids night in: Friday dinner and a movie at our new, beautiful, kid friendly, home office. We focus on families whose children are currently on treatment; parents who need a night out, with safe, reliable, free babysitting! BASE Camp Kids ages 5-15; patients, and their siblings are included, and welcome to attend! From 6-9:30 we offer up crafts, games, dress-up, snacks, dinner & movies for the children who are dropped off so their parents can have a date night! The BASE CAMP KIDS are entertained by volunteers who bring kid friendly food, popcorn & movie candy BASE CAMP has a digital library of movies; G, PG, PG 13… depending on the age group of the children we will watch movies on our 70 inch big screen TV in our Hudson's Furniture/Ikea-Orlando family room! Our volunteer teams also bring "Lots of energy", games, crafts, and a respite for parents who just need a little time away from their children!
