The Middle School Band program is designed to accommodate musicians ranging from the most talented and proficient to the less experienced, with a minimum of one year of training on their chosen instrument. It is open to entering grades 7, 8 or 9. The concert bands are conducted by outstanding band directors from around the state. This session provides an excellent opportunity for young musicians to improve their individual performance skills. Instruction includes rehearsals, sectionals, master classes, supervised practice, and optional private lessons. I supposed if you're going to a summer camp it should be in a beautiful setting. Camp Togowoods doesn't disappoint! My daughter and her BFF had what they called a "super awesome fun time" at the camp this past summer. This summer they volunteered for kitchen duty. 4th Annual Gulf Coast Elite Youth Sports Leroy Johnson Skills and Dril
This annual event was created by Leroy Johnson former defensive back for the "University of Southern Mississippi" Our staff is made up of former NFL and Division I athletes. Our mission is to help each participant develop the proper skill set in order to achieve the desired results and to be the best athlete possible. In addition to the on field exercises there will classes held throughout the day that will focus on sportsmanship as well as being coachable. Summer Kids/Teen CrossFit Camp - Gig Harbor, WA
Join us for the kick off to our Summer Kids/Teen CrossFit Camp. We will be doing baseline measurements to test speed, explosiveness, and strength. Then re test every 5 weeks. A makeup test will be performed on Tuesday, Maybe 21st at 4:30pm. Your child should arrive on time, with proper attire and footwear. Flat bottom shoes are preferred for lifting. They should be well hydrated and have eaten. They should also bring a water bottle. We have water to fill their bottles, but will not provide cups. We will go the full hour each day. We will split out time between inside and outside, so sunscreen may be needed. Parents and driving teens, please drive careful when coming up Foster, especially across the Cushman trail cross walk. Also, be aware of clients from classes before and after the camp coming and going. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot and across the street in the grassy field.
