Piano (Monday) - Janney Elementary School
Learning how to play instruments fosters self-expression, boosts listening skills, and enhances coordination. This new class is offered as an introduction for students to learn the basics of playing the piano and piano skills. Previous knowledge of playing is not required. It is open for both JAC and non-JAC students. Classes are 1-on-1 and last 15 minutes. The Enrichment Program will coordinate with JAC to transfer students to and from their lessons. Please note, however, the Janney Enrichment Program cannot provide supervision for non-JAC students after 3:30 PM. Students who are in a different class until 4:30 can be supervised to attend a piano class at 4:30 or 4:55. Previously enrolled students are given priority to ensure continuity of learning. 202-724-8950
