Camp Einstein practices the Innovator Mindset; tools which help strengthen our communication, collaboration, creative and critical thinking skills. Our highly trained Lead Explorers will help children select projects from the following modules, including: Music and Mechanical Engineering, Flight and Aerial Photography, Textiles and Technology, Reverse Engineering, 3D Printing, Robotics, and Augmented Reality with Google Cardboard. Students will have access to some of the latest technology tools such as 3D printers, computers, and laser cutters, as well as traditional crafts as they complete the projects. Using the expansive 60 acre Portledge campus and adjacent Coffin woods, campers learn how to hike paths, pitch tents, ration supplies, find resources, make maps, and apply critical thinking skills not just to survive, but to thrive in the great outdoors.
