Camp Constitution's Annual Family Summer Camp - Rindge, NH
Dear Friends, Campers, Staff, and All, Camp season is coming! We’ve secured Toah Nipi in the beautiful woods of Rindge, New Hampshire, for Sunday, July 10 – Sunday, July 17, 2016. Back for her third year, Mrs. Kris Anne Hall, a vigorous young mother will again be teaching about heroic men and women from our countryʼs founding, and the documents of freedom leading up to it. There will be a whole line-up of speakers and teachers, with more to be announced. Other returning instructors or mentors include with Mr. Peik,Mr. Shurtleff, Mr. Hoderny, Mr. “V,” and me. Mr. Peik will again lead Campfires, the Round Robin for Student Input and Q & A, and weʼll even find time for a final exam to help you see your progress! Family Camp is growing! We will again conduct the Junior Patriot Camp Program, making for a truly great family vacation! We welcome families with younger children, or no children, plus grandparents, and others (See worksheet for family accommodations.) We always have a wonderful group of young people and it is so good to see them interacting well with the little ones, with each other, with the grown ups, and even with us ancient ones! Session 1: Aug 8-12 * 7th-9th Grades - Icicle Creek Center for the Arts
7th-9th Grade film campers in are in for a fun and exciting hands-on introduction to the media arts in a beautiful natural setting. Start the week filming around the natural beauty of the Icicle Creek Campus, followed by two days of editing and post production. From concept to final cut, young filmmakers will experience each step of the creative process and experiment with new technologies. Campers will learn how to conduct a meaningful interview, handle a camera, set up a shot, record audio, and even shoot aerials from a drone. And once the footage is all gathered, of course, it all has to be organized and edited. By the end of the week, campers will have planned, shot and edited their own movie and well cap it all off with a family screening complete with popcorn! Week 6 American Girl Digital Diary - Friends School Mullica Hill
Bring your American Girl doll to camp with you, and together, you can tell a story! Using iMovie, you will create a short video starring your AG doll(s)! Create a script, choose costumes, build scenery, shoot footage, edit your scenes, etc. Learn the basics of iMovie while having fun with your AG dolls. While morning activities are geared toward the American Girl theme, all weekly FSMH camps include a trip to the pool Monday-Thursday for a swim lesson and play time. Full day campers will also have a choice in the afternoon to play outdoor games or work on arts and crafts. Mini Mulligans Tour at Naval Academy Golf Course - Naval Academy Golf Course
The Mini Mulligans Tour will consist of 10 events in the Greater DC & Baltimore areas. This tour is a developmental tour, targeted towards beginner juniors ages 6 to 9. Ages 6-9 – Should have some basic golf ability e.g. can grip and swing a club. Divisions 6-7 year olds - They will play three holes. Better players may play up into the next level. 8-9 year olds – They will play six holes. If you are 10 year old that is not that experienced or isnt ready for nine holes. Tees All Mini Mulligans play will be from the Gold Family Tees. Ten-Shot Rule A player shall take no more than 10 strokes before reaching the green on a hole. Once 10 strokes are reached, the player must pick up his ball and place it on the putting green. A player shall take no more than 4 putts per hole. Pull Carts Pull carts are allowed for use unless prohibited by the golf course. Caddies Parents are allowed to caddy for the child playing in the Mini Mulligans Tour Event. Dress Code 1.
