The Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy's 5th Annual Symposium -
Do you want to spend time with leaders who share your passion for improving the quality of life for children, families, and communities across Texas? If so, mark your calendar now for the most comprehensive teen pregnancy prevention event scheduled for 2016. The 5th Annual Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy Symposium, scheduled for April 11-12, 2016, will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton, located at 6505 North IH-35, Austin, Texas 78752. Our 2016 symposium website is now live! This will be updated regularly and will serve as your source of information for everything pertaining to the event.
District Youth Fall Retreat - Mount Morris, IL
Save the date - We will be staying at the retreat lodge (and log cabin if needed) for our fall retreat. Fellowship with other youth in the district, interesting sessions, and an opportunity to help the camp out by raking leaves at the district wide leaf raking service project (Saturday starting at 8 am). Cost $40 - no charge for Advisor. Please contact Ralph Miner if cost is an issue.
Coat-A-Kid Charity BootCamp - Chesterfield, MO
This will be our 4th consecutive December hosting a Coat-A-Kid Charity BootCamp! Come out to support an awesome charity, have fun and get your sweat on... unless you're the kind of person that is ok with kids not having coats this winter ;) All fitness levels are welcome! Classes are 55 minutes and begin at 8am & 9:30am. Max 25 people per group so be sure to sign up in advance! $20/person (you can pay at the door or in advance). The $20 donation will cover the cost of a NEW coat, gloves and hat for 1 child. TO REGISTER: 1) We have a sign up sheet at the gym. 2) Email us at [email protected] and let us know which time you would like to attend. Coat-A-Kid provides new coats, hats and gloves, free of charge, to kids in need in the St. Louis area. They are 100% volunteer run, so 100% of the proceeds go to coating children!

Fall Barrel Bash - Stonewall, OK
For pre registration please call Regina at 405-221-7647. There will be exhibitions. The ground crew will be 3 Crosses. There wil be 1/2 split . There is a $5 arena fee for all contestants and there is a youth division. Friday exhibitions will start at 5pm and go for 2 hours. Saturday exhibitions will start at 11 am and go for 3 hours. The race will start at 2pm. There will also be a $20 entry fee for the youth group. $50 entry fee each night with 80% payback. $5 exhibitions or 5 for $20 5D competition $1000 added money each night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What does a successful student look like? This course focuses on the traits and in particular the skills that help make a student successful at Seattle Prep. Over the course of three weeks, the emphasis will be on gaining organizational skills, time management, successful testing strategies, reading comprehension and retention, answering questions with clarity and self-advocacy training. Radical Reptiles & Animals with John Taibe (AGES 5-10) Join John Taibe from Radical Reptiles and Friends as he introduces the children to a unique menagerie of live animals including snakes, frogs, turtles, tortoises, lizards, bugs and other creepy crawlies. As the children explore the animal kingdom, they will have a unique, hands-on experience enhanced by art, games and various projects related to these creatures. Kids will be up and about moving too! The kiddos get John for 2 special hours. Children whove attended this camp in the past should experience new adventures & get to see Johns latest creatures. Children will have a snack time, 2 recesses on the fabulous playground and a lunchtime.
