Club Description: The Vocal Performance Club is for students who really love to sing and who would like to develop their skills further. The class includes group singing (choir) but also emphasizes vocal technique with individual attention. Students, who feel ready for a challenge beyond group singing, will be encouraged and supported in their preparation for solo presentations. Repertoire will be chosen according to the abilities of the students, including folk songs, songs from movies and musicals, jazz favorites, and art songs. Older students are, especially, encouraged to enroll. Goals for February to May include developing students individual vocal technique and exploring repertoire which will highlight the abilities of each. The class will also prepare for presentations at school events and other opportunities. Instructor Bio: The class will be taught by Carol Pharo, B.A. in Music from Penn State, M.M. from New England Conservatory, an Advanced Certificate in Singing from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and a diploma in fortepiano from The Royal Conservatory in the Hague. School is out for Election Day! Don’t stress, Nutty Scientists has you covered with an All-Day Camp filled with Interactive Workshops, Scienceful Art Projects, and Cool Inventions! You can either purchase camp time by the hour for $5 per hour or you can purchase the whole day! $45 w/ Lunch/Snack/Juice. $40 w/ NO Lunch/Snack/ Nor Juice. Lunch will be Pepperoni or Cheese Pizza and we will supply juice and snack. If you select the NO LUNCH option you MUST provide Lunch & Snack. We have a water fountain but you may also send juice or water! PLEASE do not send any type of nuts to Nutty Scientists with your child. We have many little ones with nut allergies! Summer sessions at the Tiny Scientist Day School are a time to let curiosity and a love of play guide our days. Children will explore water, make nutritious frozen summer treats, play with bubbles, plant seeds and watch them sprout and have plenty of outdoor play! Sessions are available on a weekly basis, with options for a 2, 3, 4 or 5 day sign up. Drop-off time is between 8 and 9 AM, and our pick-up time is between 3 and 4 PM. 7188328400.0

Galaxy Robotics Summer Camp - Piedmont High School
Galaxy Robotics is offering a standard class for elementary and middle school students. Over the course of the week, students will design and build their own drivable robot. On the last day of class, a small, friendly competition will be held for students to experience a real tournament environment. The class features the VEX robotics design system, a system that allows for any style of robot to be built. Students will be placed on robot-building teams consisting of 3 to 4 students each, teaching not only technology but also teamwork. Week 8 5 Half Days AM Stamford Summer All Sports Camp - Turn of River Middle School
For Boys and Girls ages 4-12. This camp offers a combination of traditional sports games like floor hockey, soccer, basketball, flag football, handball, wiffleball, physical education activities such as tag games, pinball, battleship, virtual space tag, north south, gold rush, capture the football, and various cooperative games. We ask that our full day campers bring a (peanut butter free) snack and lunch and water bottle, and our half day campers bring a peanut butter free snack and water bottle. Children are divided by age into small groups and will participate in developmentally appropriate activities for their groups.
