The IDEAL School and Kids Creative are partnering again to offer a third year of after school enrichment courses and supervised play activities for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, Monday through Friday. Kids Creative has been running after school programs throughout New York City for 16 years and is excited to continue the growing relationship with The IDEAL School, its students, families, and community. Our Fall 2015 Class Offerings Every afternoon, we will offer at least one class as well as free play. MARTIAL ARTS (Monday – Grades K-5) Ever wanted to be a ninja? Build strength, confidence and agility in our martial arts class. This class combines traditional martial arts moves with fun and exciting games. Each class includes activities with lessons on respect, discipline, self-control, concentration and goal setting. CHESS CLUB (Tuesday – Grades K-5) Build your brainpower! Students will play chess, learning the basics, building on their game playing, and honing their individual chess skills. This unique instruction is supportive as students learn to play together, have fun, and build strategy and concentration. Students are also invited to attend weekend chess tournaments. Keeping the Music Going
We worked hard to get our son interested in music and didn't want him to give up. That's why the idea of a fiddle camp was such a hoot! Not only did he get to practice his flute throughout the summer but he also picked up a few other instruments. Happy to report he is signing up for band! Coat-A-Kid Charity BootCamp - Chesterfield, MO
This will be our 3rd consecutive December hosting a Coat-A-Kid Charity BootCamp! Come out to support an awesome charity, have fun and get your sweat on... that is unless you hate kids! ;) All fitness levels are welcome! Classes are 1 hour and begin at 8am & 9:30am. Max 20 people per group so be sure to sign up in advance! $20/person (you can pay at the door or in advance). The $20 donation will cover the cost of a NEW coat, gloves and hat for 1 child. TO REGISTER: 1) We have a sign up sheet at the gym. 2) Email us at [email protected] and let us know which time you would like to attend. Coat-A-Kid provides new coats, hats and gloves, free of charge, to kids in need in the St. Louis area. They are 100% volunteer run, so 100% of the proceeds go to coating children!

Camp TMP's After School Academy presents "A Kid's Life" on Thursday, November 10, at 7:30 pm. This cast of 13 student performers shares an exciting adventure in the world of a kid! A How-To Musical Guide to the Most Daring, Dangerous, Exciting Time ... Like ... Ever! Composers: John Jacobson, Mac Huff A massive electromagnetic attack from outer space has jammed all technical systems, and there is no electricity, no cell phones, no laptops – NO FUN! The kids are in a panic and don't know what to do, until Grandma arrives on the scene and introduce them to a day filled with daring and adventure, music and imagination – all without fancy gadgets! This creative 35-minute musical appropriate for all ages features seven original songs, choreography, and terrific acting! Admission is by donation and perfect for the whole family to attend.

Get active and experience some of the newest and most exciting sports in WNY and around the world. Each day campers will try a different sport activity from rock-wall climbing, water biking, street hockey, kayaking, flag rugby, to the thrill-seeking Sky Zone "extreme trampoline and much, much more! DIGITAL FILMMAKING: SO YOU WANT TO BE ON YOUTUBE? - Memphis University School
This camp challenges students to tell a story with moving images and offers hands-on learning and instruction in writing, directing, editing, cinematography, and production. While producing a group film, each student will experience several aspects of the creative process. Topics covered include storyboarding, camera techniques, sound and music, and scriptwriting.
