Young Couples/Married/Families Potluck - Pearl, MS
Come join us for a Friendsgiving Potluck Dinner! We thought this would be an awesome opportunity to bring together couples and other young married small groups for a time of fellowship and meeting new faces. Sometimes it is difficult to meet other groups or friends in the same life stage as you in the middle of the hustle and bustle on Sundays and Wednesdays. Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation fundraiser. Cabins, RV Spots, Covered Wagons, Restaurant, Store, natural hot spring swimming pools and miles of trails for all abilities. Green sticker OK, ATVs, SxS, 4WD are all good with lots to ride & do. Very family friendly. Click event photo for details.

2016 Summer Camp Kickoff - East Hartford, CT
Camp Staff from each of our council camping programs will be at CABELAS in East Hartford to get you GEARED UP for Summer Camp 2016! Parents, Cub Leaders, Scoutmasters, Campers: Stop in at any time from 11-3 to find out what is new and to chat with key members of the camp staff! This will also be the event that Fundraising Camp Cards will be distributed to participating Units.The event may include: A Laser Shooting Gallery, Nerf Archery, FREE giveaways as well as other activities!

Go! American Girl® 2, Week 7 - Kings Christian Academy
Girls will travel back in time by exploring the literature and history behind the American Girl® dolls while also celebrating their inner star! Crafts, movies, field trips, games, and much more will provide the backdrop of girls discovery of the different periods throughout time. Girls will have fun learning about history, choices, and character as they participate in these activities along with their dolls. Each week will bring a whole new set of characters, both historical and recent, to life as we take a look at the unique challenges theyve faced. 301-994-3080

Teen Times M-F Session 1 - Prairie View Community Center
A summer at Teen Times camp is filled with activities such as sports, swimming, crafts and fun! Teens will take an active role in planning their daily schedules. Field trips will be twice a week (usually Wednesdays and Fridays). We will be swimming at the pool two afternoons a week so campers should bring a swimsuit, towel and lunch daily, unless otherwise noted. GRADES 6th - 8th LOCATION Activity Room

Sciencecraft - Middle School
This Minecraft-based camp focuses on general scientific principles and how they relate to the world of Minecraft and to the real world. Lessons in botany and biology will teach about the plants and animals that live and grow in Minecraft. Discussions about mineralogy and geology will explore the various gems and crystals found in Minecraft and explain how landscapes are made and formed. This camp also focuses on real life creatures such as Wolves who roam across the game world, just as they do in the real world. Threes (M/W/F) (birthdays between 9/1/12 and 8/31/13) - JCC ECP
Daily activities for children who are in the three-year-old program are based upon projects and units of study that are interesting and meaningful to those children. A balanced schedule provides experiences in group and individual settings and includes stories, music, language experiences, natural discovery, and inquisitive discussions that include research. Classrooms are arranged into centers that include educational toys, materials, and games based upon age appropriateness and the interests of the children. These include centers for books, blocks, sensory materials, art, puzzles and manipulatives, math, science, and dramatic play. Children have the opportunity to work and play in these centers individually, with a friend, or in small groups. Choosing centers provides practice in making decisions, following directions, working independently, and learning about the care and use of materials. Outside time offers opportunities for gross motor development (including climbing, running, jumping, pedaling, and building), social interactions, as well as a chance to experience weather and seasons. Children can also experiment with sand and water during these outside periods. Daily group times provide opportunities for your child to learn in a large group setting.
